| The Roaring Fork School
District Board is a volunteer board, representative of five different
regions of the District. Each board director must live within the boundaries
of a director district, but is elected by all voters within the entire
Roaring Fork School District. While each board member will be more familiar
with his or her own district and community, they represent the entire school
district. Elections for board members are held in November in odd years,
with the elections for directors in districts B, C, and D (2007,
2011, ...) staggered with those in A and E (2009, 2013, ...). When a director
resigns or is no longer able to serve, a replacement director is appointed
by the board to serve until the next odd year election.
